JPR Training Planner

Quick Start Guide — Get Started in 3 Steps

1 Choose Your Mode

Check It Off — Compliance mode. Document that each JPR is evaluated at least once within your training cycle. Best for meeting minimum standards.

Build the Program — Performance mode. Design a 1–2 year training cycle that develops real proficiency through repetition and frequency. Best for building competence.

Not sure? Start with Check It Off if you're documenting compliance. Use Build the Program if you're designing a training curriculum.

2 Select Your Certification Areas

Check the boxes next to every role your personnel need to master. The planner includes 69 certification areas across 11 NFPA standards:

  • Firefighter I–II
  • Fire Officer I–IV
  • Technical Rescue (21 specialties)
  • Driver/Operator
  • HazMat, Instructor, Inspector, and more

Then select the medical certification level your personnel hold:

CPR/BLS Only — Basic life support
ACLS — Advanced Cardiac Life Support (adds cardiac-specific JPRs)
PALS — Pediatric Advanced Life Support (most comprehensive)
3 Generate & Print

Click Generate and the planner creates your customized document:

Check It Off mode → Compliance checklist (dates & evaluator initials)
Build the Program mode → Training calendar with repetition schedule

Print to PDF (Ctrl+P or Cmd+P) or print directly to paper. Each page includes:

  • JPR ID and task description
  • NFPA standard and competency domain
  • Space for dates, evaluator initials, and notes
💡 Pro Tip: Use "Check It Off" for ongoing compliance documentation throughout the year. Use "Build the Program" to design your training curriculum at the beginning of each fiscal year.
