Practice the Conversations That Matter Most
Leading people is harder than fighting fire and most fire service leaders never get a chance to practice it before it counts.
This simulator gives you a low-stakes environment to work through the difficult conversations that define effective supervision: addressing performance issues, coaching struggling firefighters, delegating with clarity, and having the honest conversations that most officers avoid until they’ve already waited too long.
How it works
You’ll be presented with a realistic scenario and take on the role of the officer. The AI plays your firefighter, lieutenant, or crew member, and responds the way real people do: sometimes resistant, sometimes defensive, sometimes just confused about what’s expected.
You guide the conversation, and when it’s complete, you’ll receive feedback on your approach, what worked, and what a stronger response might have looked like.
What this is — and what it isn’t
This tool gives you reps. It won’t replace mentorship, real experience, or structured leadership development — but it makes those things stick better when you get there. Think of it the way you think of a tabletop exercise: not a substitute for the real thing, but essential preparation for it.
Who it’s for
Company officers, training officers, and supervisors at any level who want to lead their people more effectively — and who know that skill requires practice, not just good intentions.
